FOUNDER

Cedric Abboud

Cedric founded Urban Capital Group in 2020 after more than 20 years across finance and real estate in London and New York.

He previously worked in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan and in Buildings & Construction at JLL, and led the design-build division at SOMA. He has managed complex regeneration projects and refurbishments, working alongside firms including Gensler, SOM, Perkins&Will and Arup, and builders such as Turner and Structure Tone.

At the firm, he acquires and develops properties from site assemblage and design through delivery, creating long-term value for his stakeholders, most recently at 32 Walker Street in Tribeca. He holds graduate degrees in Construction Administration and Finance from Columbia University and the University of London.
